Buying a Home

When making an Offer, the home seller can accept, reject or counter the Offer. When accepted, the result is a binding contract called a Purchase Agreement.

The Offer to Purchase is a detailed, legally binding contract. Working together we will look out for your best interests. Before presenting the Offer we do the following:

  • A Comparative Market Analysis to determine relative market value, giving us industry facts to base the offer on.
  • Write clauses that spell out exactly what you want. No assumptions or verbal agreements.
  • Discuss Fixtures verses Chattels to avoid any misunderstandings.
  • Help you get Pre-approved, thereby strengthening your position as a Buyer.
  • Provide you with choices and options of protecting yourself from any hidden surprises, such as a Home Inspection.
  • Keep you updated and continue your home search even during negotiations, just in case negotiations are not successful.
  • Get an answer from the Seller as quickly as possible.
